Established in 2016 and based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, Upper V Athlete Management is a firm that specializes in the representation and management of professional athletes.

Lenny brings a wealth of business and legal experience to Upper V Athlete Management. He began his career with the San Jose CyberRays of the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) where he developed, negotiated, and managed the team's corporate partnerships. While with the team, he also handled various legal issues and drafted and reviewed a variety of contracts including regional television, professional services, and exhibition game agreements. Lenny then went on to work for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA) where he managed the team's strategic alliances. His client list included well-known brand names such as 24 Hour Fitness, Jelly Belly Candy Company, and Carl's Jr. Prior to founding Upper V Athlete Management, Lenny also held marketing and legal positions with the San Francisco 49ers, the Walt Disney Company, and Westfield, LLC.
Lenny is a licensed FIFA Football Agent. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with concentrations in Finance and International Business from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He also earned his Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from Santa Clara University's School of Law and his Master of Business Adminstration degree (M.B.A.) from Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business. Lenny is a member of the State Bar of California and a California Registered Athlete Agent.
While Lenny no longer plays soccer, he stays heavily involved in the sport as a head coach for the Mustang Soccer Club in Danville, CA and as an instructor for Stanford University Women's Soccer Camps. Lenny holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "C" Coaching License and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Premier Diploma.
Ryan Cochrane, Director of Client Development
A 9-year veteran of Major League Soccer (MLS) and two-time MLS Cup Champion, Ryan enjoyed a successful playing career making over 250 professional starts with 3 different MLS clubs (San Jose Earthquakes, Houston Dynamo, and New England Revolution). Ryan brings a high level of experience and breadth of knowledge within the game and an invaluable network at the collegiate, professional, and international levels.
An All-American during his 3-year collegiate career at Santa Clara University, Ryan led the 2003 Broncos to an NCAA Final Four appearance. After his early departure from Santa Clara, Ryan was drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes with the 5th overall pick in the 2004 MLS Superdraft. Ryan has also represented the United States at various levels including the U.S. U-20 National Team that placed 5th at the 2003 U-20 FIFA World Cup.
Following his retirement from professional soccer in 2012, Ryan moved into coaching at his alma mater, Santa Clara University. In 2015, he helped lead the Broncos to a West Coast Conference title. Ryan also coached at the club level in the Bay Area managing teams within the DeAnza Force Soccer Club. He also spent time as a coach with the ODP Region IV program. In 2014, Ryan earned a USSF National "B" Coaching License.
Ryan is passionate about mentoring players through the professional ranks, helping to position them for long-term stability and success. Ryan holds a B.S. in Marketing and currently resides in Portland OR.
Kendall Romine, Director of Client Recruiting
Kendall is a graduate of Stanford University and former professional soccer player for the Seattle Reign of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). At Stanford, Kendall led her team to the 2011 NCAA title, the first in school history. Excelling on the field and in the classroom, she eventually earned the honor of captain during her senior year. Kendall finished her collegiate career with 4 College Cup appearances, 3 Pac-10/Pac-12 Championships, and a cumulative record of 104-11-7.
Prior to Stanford, Kendall grew up in Southern California, where she played for the So Cal Blues. Although she does not play soccer competitively anymore, she still trains young soccer players on the side and is a big supporter of Stanford Women's Soccer.
Kendall holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Stanford University.
Brittany Alvarado, Director of Video Operations
Brittany Alvarado is a videographer and photographer with a passion for people, sports, and powerfully capturing and telling stories. Originally from New Jersey, Britt is now based in Orlando, FL. She has a rich background in professional sports including working for professional soccer teams - Sky Blue FC, Orlando City SC, and the Orlando Pride. Britt has also done video work for the U.S. National Team.
With Upper V Athlete Management, Britt is responsible for creating, editing, and reviewing our athlete highlight videos.
